The idea is simple. Start off with our fundraising starter pack - a minimum of 50 passes at the discounted price of $4.99 per pass. Then start selling tickets to your community for a price you set. Keep in mind that we charge $12.99 for the same pass you are purchasing for $4.99. We recommend the ticketing platform Eventbrite to handle all of your ticket sales. Eventbrite is easy to use and provides you with great ticket administration and marketing tools.
Set up ticket sales for your fundraiser now.
Once you exceed 50 ticket sales, you'll need to top up your passes so that everyone gets access to the film. It's really easy to top up the passes you need for your event. Everything will be explained in the email we send you once you purchase your Starter pack.
Just remember - one pass equals one person/home accessing the film for 48 hours. You'll need one pass for each ticket you sell. It's important to note that you need to top up your passes prior to your event to ensure everyone you've sold passes to will have access to the film.
Do I need to hold my event on a specific date/time?
Not at all. It's completely up to you whether you want ticket holders to watch the film on a specific date and time or whether they can watch it at a time that suits them. Holding an event can be fun and a meaningful experience for all involved. Everyone who purchases a pass will have 48 hours to access the film once they register their first device.
Quick tips:
1. Be enthusiastic about your fundraising project. People warm to enthusiasm. Have loads of fun!
2. Share the vision around WHY you are doing this. People appreciate seeing the bigger picture and will love helping you achieve your goals.
